"What hack have you found to succeed with your company?"
I've heard this phrase several times, when recrossing old acquaintances.
Reality?
❌ It's that there is no "hack".
No real shortcuts.
It's an embryo of vision, then perseverance.
A lot of perseverance, every day.
For years.
💡 It took me 4 years to be able to make a living from it.
4️⃣ years - from 2012 to 2016 - working evenings and on public transport, alongside a salaried job as an engineer and a busy private life.
Then, without the safety net of a salaried job, my company went through ups and downs and lots of in-betweens.
Is it worth it?
Yes, without hesitation.
Is it easy?
At the risk of discouraging you: no, it's not easy.
